I work as a Plant Ecology research assistant for Dr. Yvonne Buckley and have over 10 years experience as a researcher and consutlant in freshwater ecology. In 2008 and 2009, I primarily assisted with the field preparation and research of invasive pines in Canterbury Highplains, NZ. In 2010, I successully completed a hertibility experiment on Scotch broom. Currently, I am analysing results from this heritability experiment.
The Buckley Lab is an exciting working experience for me as I’m engaged in a multitude of research projects previously outside my area of expertise (plant ecology, management of invasions) and I get to work with a great group of researchers.
